“I absolutely love these shoes! Tested them in the cold English weather and they look good and keep me warm. Not sure if they are unisex (I think they are advertised as mens shoes) but size 5 fits women's 5 really well. Very comfortable.”
“Incredible look and feel! comfort and functionality meet pure luxury. Emphasis on the luxury. I love the durable horween touches. I know these will last for a very very long time so woth the price to me. Great design from Rose Anvil and even better execution from the people of Goral. Thank You!”
“Well built sneakers. Made like boots. Super comfy inside with the genuine shearling lining. I love how soft and supple the leather is on the vamp. The outsole feels super grippy. Overall happy with the purchase.”
“Simply put, a beautiful shoe in every way. With effecetively zero restraints on the construction, this has resulted in a shoe that will outlast most work-boots on the market without comprimising looks. Once broken in, which takes little time due to the type(s) of insoles provided, the comfort is phenomenal. I personally have used the shearling insole the most due to Canadian winters and I have never owned a softer, more comfortable piece of footwear in my life becasue of that. Having your foot wrapped in proper wool is wonderfully soft and warm, especially when it reached -50 celcius and below. Speaking of which, while using the MUGGS over my traditional winter-footwear I was pleased with their performance. My feet remained *warm* for over 3 hours in that weather. In the wind, over the ice and through the snow banks, zero issues with the warmth of my feet and due to the half-gussetetd tongue, no snow or water got inside when the snow built up on the shoes and slowly melted as I worked. Honeslty, that impressed me the most about these shoes, very few winter boots can withstand that type of cold for long and yet these can. Slippage on ice is minor and does happen however yet again the performance is comparable to, if not greater than, high-end winter boots in that regard.
So far they have withstood one winter season with minimal damage (some of the Chromexcel's top coat has been scratched away, to be expected with work, though it adds age and character) and with exceedingly outperforming expectations. If these are within your budget and you want a solid performaing cold-resistant shoe that look amazing, feel great and have (hopefully) a decade or two worth of life between resoles, these are well, well worth it.”
