“This was a free addition redeeming my sauce points. I was pretty excited because usually I love Ghost. I will say it is super hot. But the taste is kind of gnarly and it is super thick sauce that gets stuck in the opening of the bottle whenever you shake it blocking the entrance. I mostly use this sauce when I want to make something else hotter. Spaghetti, Mac and cheese, ranch for dip, etc. by itself though I will usually pass. So I will give 3 stars because it is a good sauce enhancer but I can’t recommend on the basis of flavor as a stand-alone.”

I’m so sorry this sauce wasn’t your cup of tea. We find it really sings on burgers and chicken tacos. It also makes a great marinade! Or if you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, send an email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com

Oh no! So sorry this sauce wasn't your cup of tea! This pepper mash is absolutely amazing for cooking. Try adding it to some browned beef when making a chili con carne! Or if you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, email ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com :slightly_smiling:

“Lots of heat, but I would not have rated this at 10/10. I typically can't handle ghost like I can other peppers like habanero, but I can have this sauce just fine. As others mentioned, its very thick - more like a paste, so kind of hard to get out of the bottle.”

“I love sauces and mashes that have a short ingredient list. This mash is ghost peppers, salt and a bit of vinegar. You get the full ghost pepper flavor and heat. It's delicious and potent. It's expensive, but the bottle holds 30 ghost peppers. It's concentrated and will last me a long time.”

“I can definitely appreciate a good build up over a meal. Dawsons got the formula right with a great, easy to identify flavour and a ‘choose your limit’ burn.”

“It's sweet for just a moment in time before you are ON FIRE. It's as hot as anything I've ever tasted. It's also very VERY thick and difficult to pour out just a few drops, comes out in big globs so you might want to dig it out with a toothpick to measure out a small amount.”
