“This sauce has a bit of smoky flavor that may remind you of Los Callientes (sp?) Barbacoa, however there's more acidity and heat. It's a wonderful sauce for pork, as well as many other things, but I find myself putting it on everything pork I eat now. It leaves you with a wonderful tongue burn, but it never really overheats your mouth or burns out the taste buds. For reference, I regularly use The Last Dab in sauces and noodles, and that can sometimes overpower the flavor with heat if you're not careful with the amount you add. This one plays way nicer. It gives you that decent heat while still maintaining that lovely flavor. Honestly, this is probably the best one of the sauces I've ever purchased from here. Opinions mentioned above aside, here's a break down: Somewhat smoky flavor. Hints of acid/citrus. Heat level probably 6/10, ramping to 7/10 through multiple bites. Complexity and balance throughout nose, tongue, and after-taste. Overall: 9 out of 10. (For me) Highly recommend.”

“Perfect blend of heat and flavor, IMO. Not too hot to use as a topping, and not too mild as to not trigger the endorphins. Great for stews, or topping. Great Caribbean flare. Just Do It.”

“This sauce has decent amount of. Heat and a ton of flavor. There is definitely some vinegar there, but it’s not overwhelming. Probably a 7/10 on the heat scale.”
