“This is my favorite hot sauce for eggs, tacos, or falafel. The name is accurate—it really is smoky tasting. It’s definitely a hot sauce, but it won’t make your nose run or your eyes water, so you don’t have to worry about the heat overpowering subtle flavors.”

“This sauce has a caramelized onion flavor with a smokey finish. It has a kick, but it doesn't overpower. I would put it at a 2 out of 10 for heat. I think it's a good universal sauce for savory dishes.”

“This hot sauce is the best ever! I keep the pantry stocked with it. Heat, but not too hot. The smokey flavor is amazing! It's great on eggs, wings, deviled eggs, ribs, and pretty much anything when you want smoke.”

“This sauce was inedible for me. It has an overwhelmingly artificial smoke flavor. I threw it out. It’s easily the worst sauce I have ordered from Heatonist.”

“My new favorite hot sauce. Went right to their site and ordered five more which won't last long. Going to buy more to give to friends as gifts. Mild in heat, extremely prominent smokey flavor that really adds to things like eggs, potatoes, etc. . . it has become a staple condiment for me. Full disclosure: I love smoked meat, Islay scotch, etc. . . Regardless, I think most people will love this.”
