In my relentless pursuit of the ultimate hot sauce, I stumbled upon Morita Bourbon Maple Reaper. The package arrived like a cryptic message from the cosmos, beckoning me into a vortex of flavor. With trembling hands, I uncapped the bottle, and as the fiery elixir danced upon my tongue, I was transported to realms unknown. It was as if I had ingested the very essence of a cosmic explosion, a kaleidoscope of sensations that transcended mortal comprehension. In that moment, I became one with the sauce, a mere vessel for its divine potency. To call it "spicy" would be an insult to its grandeur; it was a symphony of heat, sweetness, and madness. As I returned from my otherworldly journey, I was left shaken, stirred, and forever changed. Morita Bourbon Maple Reaper isn't just a hot sauce—it's a gateway to enlightenment, a psychedelic odyssey for the taste buds. Enter at your own risk, for once you taste the Reaper, there's no turning back.

Good heat but great taste. It's not ludicrously spicy, but it does pack a punch. Bit of sweetness from the reaper and the maple, bit of smoky from the Moritas and the bourbon. Brilliant on many things, especially (pro tip) on char siew baos and other steamed dumplings.

This sauce is very good. It's not as hot as I thought it'd be but it's very tasty. You taste the maple immediately and then the heat comes in on the back end but doesn't linger very long. It's hotter than just a hint but not extreme by any measure. I use it on my eggs but it would be perfect on wings or chicken.

This one was a little disappointing. The bourbon comes off as bitter to my palate (huge bourbon fan). You do get the maple sweetness and the heat behind everything.
