“Many of the 9 or 10 heat hot sauces don't have a huge flavor profile. This one is outstanding. I do think it doesn't quite hit the 9 level it's given...but maybe that's just because I want to keep eating it and suffering through the meal. A dab is pretty hot but it doesn't ruin your buds. It's really great - favorite high heat sauce.”

“This sauce is almost too hot to enjoy, yet the slow burn really does let you enjoy the flavors before it melts your face off. Enjoy your meal slowly as you rest between bites, and then dive back in because you love the adrenaline rush. It's very spicy, and it's amazing how the flavors still shine through all that burn burn burn. I don't usually like the super-intense sauces for my food, other than as a novelty to give it a try, yet I have gone back to this one for chicken dishes, and also to add to my ramen broth. Very, very hot.”

“I just got this one about 2 weeks ago. I love garlic in any form minced, whole roasted cloves. I was totally unprepared for the heat level . I've watched every season and had this one on the back burner for a bit before I got a bottle. I made my wings, put a healthy dose on one and took a bite and wow. The garlic is there for sure but the heat is REALLY there. Again on other reviews I've done it's fantastic to cook with, the amount you choose the use is at your own discretion, this is just one hot heads opinion. No complaints though. Enjoy and good luck. A few friends got a surprise when I made taco dip for the Bills game lol.”

“I bought a handful of puckerbutt and a few other hot sauces Ed Currie reviewed and this has to be my favorite out of all of them. the garlique smells strongly of garlic and lives up to its name. the spice level is not as hot as I would like, but I am guessing I am attuned to extreme levels of spice (after trying all of them). I got the XXX, this, the taco one, and goat+ginger. This one wins.”

“The title says it all: definitely a pepper-forward punch of garlic and seasoning. For me, this is right on the edge of Hot/Superhot, which is a fun place to be. The texture is also excellent, but I do wish that there was a bit more complexity in the flavors.”
