This is that verde Mexicanta southern flavor with a bite of a kick. The high point of this is not heat, (it says hi) the flavor is where it’s at. This is great on eggs, tacos. Pork. Flavor wise is one of my favorite hot sauces. I’ll be making my 3rd order of it. Killer stuff keep it up can’t wait to try the next hot ones sauce. Wish I would have had the chipotle sauce

Only gave it 4 stars because I was expecting it to be very hot though I’m one of that love heat. Tasted excellent though.

Wanted to love it, but just found it to be ok. Had a strong black pepper taste. Heat was perfect for a everyday sauce. The search for the perfect summer hot sauce continues

I had high expectations of this sauce, and it certainly disappoint. Los calientes is more flavorful than I imagined, almost like a salsa taste from the peppers. It is great!! Heat is there but by no way overpowering. Perfect sauce for someone who is a bit apprehensive to try sauces hotter than sriacha.

Hot Ones plays up the drama of the heat, and I was expecting this sauce to burn more than it did. I'm not an extreme hot sauce enthusiast, so I'm not looking for the intense burn, and this sauce has it just right -- enough heat to open my sinuses, but not enough to set my mouth on fire. Hot Ones guests always mention how flavorful this sauce is, and they are not just being nice -- Los Calientes truly is muy delicioso! If it came in a 12oz jar, I'd eat it with chips like a salsa. Hmm... Heatonist, are you reading? Bulk it up with some chunky diced and simmered onions and sweet peppers, and sell me a big ol' jar of Los Calientes salsa!

I'm a fan of Hot Ones, but not of this sauce. With a heat rating of 5/10 I expected a hotter sauce than I could get at the local grocery store, but it's not. My experience was closer to a 2 or 3 out of 10. The flavor is complex, but was too smoky for me, and not really what I was looking for. It's got more of a Texas chili cook-off thing going on then something that'd be good on wings. It would be interesting to try the sauce without cumin. I'm sorry Hot Ones, I didn't love this sauce, but I still love the show. Best!

Let me begin by saying that because of the show (and the branding, AND the marketing), I had very high expectations of this sauce. The sweetness is there, but certainly not overpowering. The heat is slow, and doesn't hit too hard, but it hangs out in there for a little while. In conclusion, you could drizzle this sauce on a stapler and I'd eat it.
