“Great all-rounder. Good, miderate, lingering heat. Suitable for wimps and capsiphyls alike. For me anyway this sauce is impossible to over apply. Lovely fruity note and good spice balance. Only wish it came in a dasher bottle. I blasted through my first one WAY too fast. Superlative example and now my benchmark hab sauce. I'll still reach for the gunslinger when I want to be frivolous. This stuff is too precious. ***** out of *****!”

“The description is a perfect summary. If there was a fourth word, it would be "perfect". I've grown a very hot palate, so this one isn't quite hot enough to be my go-to, but I always find myself coming back for that flavor. I will probably find a good scorcher to dose my bottle of LCR with so it can be my new best friend.”

“There was a part of me that was a little worried this wouldn't be as good as the regular Los Calientes, but I was thankfully proven wrong the second it hit my tongue. It definitely has more of a bite to it than the regular kind, but that perfect co-mingling of fruity sweetness, tartness and spice is still there and just begging to be put on everything.”

“I was expecting this to only be slightly different from the green boy. Man, was I wrong, not only did they replace the green serrano, they added thyme. This sauce is smoky and has that bite you expect from a 5/10. Pretty much, I now have 2 phenomal sauces that I can switch between, based on what I'm in the mood for. Best way to put it; OG calientes = Sweet, new calientes=smoky/savory.”

“I have 15ish hot sauces now from Heatonist and this is my absolute favorite. The apricot is genius and it's a perfect medium heat. I think anyone saying it's mild is a die hard hottest of the hot eaters. I put this on everything. I love complex flavors and the combo of sweet, tangy, and heat makes me so happy. Please never stop making this sauce!”
