“Before coming coming to Heatonist and getting quality sauces like this, Tobasco's Chipotle was my go to hot sauce. They are quite comparable in style. HOWEVER: Anejo's sauce is BETTER IN EVERY SINGLE WAY. The flavor is fuller and more well rounded, the spice is less sharp and more pleasant(even if it might be hotter), and the smell just makes my stomach growl in a way that Tabasco never did. God! I love that smokey flavor! This will be a pantry staple for me.”

“This is one of my favorite hot sauces of all time. It’s smokey and has tons of flavor. It’s great on so many things, especially refried black beans and rice. If this ever becomes unavailable I will be so sad.”

“I wasn’t expecting this to be as smoky as it is. That isn’t a knock, it has fantastic jalapeño flavor, really prominent smokiness and a food amount of heat. If you like smoky flavors, this is definitely a must have.”
