This sauce is kind of like an abusive relationship for me. I love the flavor of it, but it is a couple steps beyond my comfortable spice threshhold so the heat kicks me in the mouth hard and I suffer for it. But it's delicious, so I wait a couple of weeks, forget about the bad times, and put it on a burrito again.

I hightly recommend Zombie Apocalypse. It's doesn't use extracts, so it tastes great, but still has a high amount of spice.

This has become his absolute favorite sauce. He uses it on just about everything, its hot, super super hot, and he is a man that eats raw peppers like pickles with sandwiches. He is often disappointed with sauces that have either the heat and no flavor or visa versa... Zombie Apocalypse has both flavor and heat. We will def be purchasing again soon as he is already running low!

Unlike as it was advertised ("Accidentally Healthy. Intentionally Delicious") we thought it wasn't tasty at all, just devil juice. Not sure if it was the mandarin in it, but this sauce has the colour and taste of vomit. That said, three stars because it brings the spice, and has its own flavour.

I ordered this hot sauce along with 4 others from Heatonist. This is the first one to deliver. The flavor isn't what I really expected, but not in a bad way. I haven't had a lot of hot sauces (yet) so I can't really say much in that regard. It has a bit of a twangy-salsa smell & taste (probably from the peppers) - very compatible with things like tomato soup or taco soup. It's definitely more of a hot sauce for soups. I tried it with chicken and it's probably not the best for it. I was turned onto this sauce from Hot Ones, but I don't think it would be the best with wings in my opinion. The flavor can be slightly off putting if it's not with a compatible food item, but that should be implied for any hot sauce really. To be honest, I thought 100,000 scoville would be a bit spicier. I found myself having to add quite a bit in my soup to get a high amount of kick to the point it was affecting the flavor of the dish a bit more than I would like, but that's just because I like really spicy. If you just like low-average spice levels this won't be an issue for you. It seemed to give a lot more of a kick in my chicken than my soup, but tastes better with soup. I would recommend giving it a try if you're curious, but I think it might be priced a bit high for the amount you get, and for that reason I don't think I'll find myself buying this one again. That being said, I don't regret trying it. Can't wait to try the other ones I ordered! Note: 'best by' time period is about 2 months or so from receiving. Spice: 7.5/10 Taste: 7/10 Smell: 7/10 Price: 5/10 Overall: 6.7/10
