“I really want to like this, but the flavor is odd and hard to pair with foods. I’ll be honest, the smell out of the bottle is really off-putting to me, too, but better on food. I tried it on a Mexican dish, thinking the garlic and citrus would pair well, but there is this weird vinegar hit you get. The carrot comes out too, and it is also a strange flavor note. It’s like if you kinda pair it with some of the ingredients, it makes other notes come out in a not-so-great way. Someone said it was good on chilli, and I might try that. I’ll keep trying it with other foods… The heat wasn’t as hot as I thought it would be. It was slow at first and builds. It got pretty warm, but wasn’t that hot, and then is slowly goes away in about 5 minutes. I just thought for an 8, it would be hotter. Not that I’m really complaining about the heat. Might be hot to others, but my real complaint is with the flavor profile. Might not be for me.”

“Zombie Apocalypse is an interesting sauce and the direction I’m coming is from Torchbearer’s Garlic Reaper, a significantly tastier, bolder sauce. So I’ll say it isn’t as flashy or as spicy, but the habanero/ghost pairing is interesting. The sweetness of the habanero and the punch of the ghost. It is good at blending with chicken, beef, chili, tacos, etc. but doesn’t really stand on its own. There is nothing that would make me come back for a second round.”

“I bought this for a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He absolutely loves it! His favorite way to eat it is on crackers. He said that it doesn’t seem that hot but at the very end there is a kick to it.”

“Really nice burn on this, not big on the flavor. Just not enough body for me at least. But really enjoyed the heat level.”
