“I'll be honest, this sauce took me a hot minute to enjoy. There is some smokiness to it that I was not expecting which I thought overpowered the sauce at first. After coming back to this sauce again with a different mindset, it is definitely one of my favorite sauces I've tried. There is a decent amount of sweetness to this sauce after the initial smoke hit with a heat that stays consistent and doesn't really build or linger.”

“Great tasting sauce, overly sweet for my preference... because of that, I feel that it's not as versatile for application. Can only see myself using this sparingly for pork based dishes. Great balanced heat & flavor, but if you prefer your sauces to be more acidic or salty, this isn't for you. Very rich & creamy.”

“Torchbearer can't make a bad sauce this is the 3rd one I've tried. Had the garlic reaper and zombie apocalypse. This one is probably the most versatile sauce out of the three. Sweet upfront with a slow burn from the ghost peppers. Definitely much less heat than the zombie apocalypse but a similar flavor. Great to mix with bbq sauce for some ribs or bbq chicken as well. Highly recommend”

“This sauce is hot but certainly not painful. I use it pretty liberally. It has same heat level and flavor profile as Secret Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce but it’s more flavorful so I’m replacing the Aardvark in my lineup with this.”

“First time ordering from heatonist so I was sure to read the reviews. I was not let down, this sauce like some other I bought are amazing the description of the sauce says everything u need to know. Flavor 5/5 And heat 5/5 for being exactly what they advertised.”

“I was surprised to find this sauce is so sweet. I didn't expect that judging by the name. Normally I like more of a savory hot sauce but this one is really good. Not too much eat at first but it does have a slow burn. It's a good sauce for wings if you like a sweet and spicy wing but it is also good on nachos, chicken nuggets, burgers and eggs. I do wish it was a little hotter and a little more savory but it's overall a good sauce that can be used on many things.”

“I'm a hot sauce AND hot wing fanatic, and I can't get enough of this sauce. Because I am a fan of the Zombie Apocalypse hot sauce I knew I'd love this enough that I bought two bottles upon release. Sadly, I am almost done with the second bottle. The flavor profile of this sauce is incredible. I ordered some wings the other day from a food delivery service and they weren't sauced nearly enough. I used this as a stand in and it made me want to start ordering wings without sauce so I can sauce them myself with this.”

“This is by far my favorite hot sauce. Great flavor and a bit of a kick. I am normally a wimp with hot sauce. But this is just hot enough to make your nose run but not blow your socks off hot.”
