“First: I am a hot sauce noob. In my younger days, I loved spicy food, but as I’ve gotten older, the spiciness loves me less than I it. Frank’s and Tobasco are regular staples in my kitchen (until now). Bearing my inexperience in mind, I must say that this sauce is the best-tasting hot sauce I’ve ever had, bar none. The heat is good - a bit more than I was expecting from the 5/10 heat rating via Hot Ones. But it is very manageable with a meal. This would pair great with grilled or fried chicken, home-made fries, or some salty tortilla chips. Lots of tomato, garlic, and roasted pepper up front on the taste. The heat begins to fade quickly after a couple of minutes. Overall, this is a great sauce. I’m honestly looking forward to finishing my bottle just so I have a reason to order more.”

“I purchased Son Of Zombie and Ancho & Morita for my first hot sauce experiment from Heatonist. First off, ordering was easy. Both sauces arrived in 10/10 packaging, no leaks. Shipped out on Day 2 and was at my house the next day. Brooklyn, New York should sell everything. They know how to package and run a business. 10/10 service. Whoever runs Heatonist's shipping and packaging operations should teach the rest of the World how to run a business. I also got a Heatonist sticker! As for the sauce: My only hot sauce experience is Frank's Red Hot. I am a spice rookie. Ingredients labels mean nothing to me because I've never heard of some of them. So no guess was made as to flavor. I played it safe and had a glass of milk ready. Ended up pouring the milk unused back into the bottle. But, there is HEAT here. I just used drops per wing. If you actually soaked wings in this or poured a lot, you would have a far bigger heat experience than I did. But, I rate the flavor 100% unique. And I rate the heat an experience. Very slight lip heat. Some throat heat. Watering nose/cleared sinuses, and a slight heat build. At first I didn't think much heat was there, and added more drops (just a few) to the wing again. It was a build up. When I felt the delayed heat, it wasn't offensive. And I'll never buy Frank's Red Hot again. This is much stronger heat. Heat to be respected for rookies like me. But, very unique flavor. Like any sauce, start with a drop first. 10/10”

“Sweet but Tangy is definitely a good explanation of this Hot Sauce. I would recommend this as a good starter sauce for the gauntlet.”

“This sauce is very satisfying. It hits all the right notes on the tongue. You can taste the honey right of the start. But then the ghost peppers hit you. Its not to hot but it does let you know its hot sauce.”

“If you don't buy this sauce, you're stupid. I love it so much. The initial taste is sweet, then it hits with the distinct smoky habanero, and then the heat of the ghost pepper comes in. Absolutely amazing. I bought this and the Los Calientes, but it blows the Los Calientes sauce out of the water. BUY. THIS. SAUCE.”

“This stuff is AMAZING. The taste isn’t irresistible. Sweet and tangy with an amazing level of heat. I like hot food and sauces but I don’t like to torture myself. This is the right sauce for that job. I will be buying loads of this in the future. Absolutely incredible stuff.”

“Son of Zombie is amazing. It is sweet with a nice kick. I can't get enough of it. I use it on just about everything. I dip fries in it, pour it over eggs, pour it on my girlfriends chili, I even love to use it as a chicken, bacon and cheddar pizza sauce. 10 out of 10 Awesome taste that won't fry your taste buds”
