It has some immediate heat to it, but a good amount. Then if you keep using it, it builds up pretty quick to be VERY hot. I'm talking, tearing up. As far as the flavor, it wasn't anything special to me. In fact I got a little tired of it and only finished about 75-80% of the bottle before I threw it out. If you're looking to punish yourself with a hot sauce without taking away too much flavor from what you're eating, I'd say try this one out.

I think the rating is a tad low at 80k... hits me at about 200k (tears).. Has the base flavor and consistency of TacoBell Diablo a bit better flavor and a shit load hotter... You can taste the relationship.. Hits pretty hard at the front of the pallet and falls off pretty quick.. not for the weak...

I agree with some other reviewers, this feels hotter than Brain Burner or Garlic Reaper. I imagine we vary in tolerance to certain peppers (I could eat habanero all the live long day but a tobasco pepper messes me up), so maybe its the scorpions. This makes my eyes tear up in a way other sauces don't, but once I get over it, the flavor is nice and smokey and great for Mexican food, patatas bravas, bloody marys, all those things you want a nice warm heat for.

I love this stuff. It is very tasty, marries well with a variety of dishes (especially mexican)...but for me, this is absolutely hands down the hottest non extract sauce I have ever tasted. Last Dab, Widow Maker and Brutality don't match this ones fire. Odd.

I am a huge scorpion pepper fan and this is the best sauce I have had. Tears of Joy Sweet Scorpion used to be tops for me, but I have been converted. This is the threshold of what I can handle putting on things in high amounts and not feel like I am just ruining my mean and torturing myself. I liked it so much, when the office fridge was cleaned and the cleaner threw away my bottle I was driven to submit an anonymous note to the suggestion box about the incident.

This was the best tasting sauce I have had after trying about 6 from this site, including the Last Dab XXX and Burn After Eating. The heat was very comparable to the Burn After Eating but SO MUCH TASTIER! Highly recommend to anyone that wants some heat and great flavor.

This sauce has a flavor that I will forever be chasing...it tastes like smoked peppers were used. Upon first touching the pallet you get a backyard BBQ vibes, and a slight zing of smoke. Then the heat kicks in, a very respectable heat, but not too much. Great sauce, easily one if my favorite offerings on this sight.

So my wife got me 4 hot sauces for Christmas and this was among them. My brother and I fried up some wings and sat down to taste them one by one. The flavor for this one was amazing but I found myself having to keep from sucking the juice off the wings for fear of really getting the heat down into my tongue. It leaves your tongue feeling like a dry desert and I'd rate the heat at a 8/10. It is marginally less hot than the Last Dab XXX (which was one of the others that I received.) Great for anyone who wants flavor and kick.
