“I have ordered about 10-15 different hot sauces from the Heatonist and have enjoyed most of them. I have tasted a friend’s Da Bomb (I didn’t purchase it) and thought it was not only too hot but also tasted like sludge as well. One of my first ever purchases came with a tiny sample bottle of The Last Dab and although that tasted good, it was very hot and not something I’d buy on the regular; too hot for my general usage. I ordered this Cosmic Disco after watching David Blane’s appearance on the most recent season of Hot Ones. This hot sauce is, in my opinion, hotter than my sampling of Da Bomb & The Last Dab! As soon as it hits the mouth there is heat, but also quite a bit of flavor. Within 5 seconds though the heat builds, and builds, and build fast! It became so hot I dropped my wing and ran to the sink and ran my mouth under running cold water. My eyes were watering and my face started sweating profusely. I couldn’t get rid of the heat! I put ice in my mouth, nothing. I held milk in my mouth, nothing. Every breath out felt like my tongue was being scraped by a hot poker. After a few minutes of excruciating pain I started to blow my nose and wipe my face off and my nose was bleeding! Like I said I’ve sampled the hottest from the show and those were VERY hot, but for me this sauce was WAY hotter than those! For whatever the reason. If this sounds like fun to you, go ahead and order! If it doesn’t, stay away, stay far away.”

I’m so sorry this sauce wasn’t for you! This is definitely a HOT sauce that was designed for people who like higher heat levels. To cut it, I'd suggest adding it to a little butter, mayo, or coconut oil. Or if you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, send an email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com
