I have yet to try it with sushi but this is absolutely DELICIOUS with dumplings and a side of pickled ginger!

As other reviews has said, this thing has virtually zero heat, to the point that it's arguable whether this should be considered a hot sauce at all. It's the perfect sauce for someone who enjoys a truly jam-packed amount of Asian flavor but with practically negligible presence of any spiciness. Would I toss wings in this? Not at all. But as a marinade for chicken, with gochujang, or as a sushi dipping sauce? This is a truly fantastic sauce and well worth your patronage.

So tasty! Only reason it gets 3 stars is because there is literally no heat. Was hoping for this flavor with at least a bit of heat, and unfortunately nothing. Not even any to be considered mild.

This tastes great as a seafood topper for any sushi fan - it really does taste like the normal pairings for it, soy and wasabi.

This sauce very good on fish. It definitely gives an Asian flavor to whatever I put it on. However is isn't even slightly hot.

If we're being honest, this really isn't a hot sauce. Don't get me wrong, it's a good sauce in its own right, but there is zero heat. What it does have is that rich miso flavor, which comes across very similar to peanut, and a soy base. I could detect no wasabi, even when absolutely drenching sushi in this sauce, but adding wasabi to it produced great results. It's also a very good salad dressing, especially when combined with carrots, but I like Piko Peppers' White Rabbit sauce more, especially because you don't need to add any carrots. This sauce works great for dipping Vietnamese summer rolls or chicken satay!
