This one has a little bit of a strange texture and smell. Not bad, just not what you expect in a hot sauce. The sauce is pretty good tasting, not a favorite of mine but not the worst either. I admit that I didn't try it on any fish or asian inspired dishes like they recommend, so if you try it on that you'll probably love it. Either way, it adds a good flavor and a little heat (not overwhelming)

My family and I crushed this sauce. It's good in a variety of dishes. I even pocketed this thing to a few restaurants. I highly recommend giving it a shot.

Sorry, I've had Lay's potato chips that were hotter than this and you know how wimpy those things are!!! This sauce has no punch whatsoever - can't believe they're rating this a 6! Maybe a 1. Still, stars for the flavor which is pretty nice!

taste is good but what in the world is this sauce doing in the “hottest sauces” category of heatonist.com? it should be in the mild category. Kept thinking I got a bad bottle but after reading other reviews it’s clear...it’s just not hot at all. Disappointed.

Love the show. Bought this sauce and Los Calientes. I amused to Trader Joes Jalapeño and Habanero sauces. The habanero especially kicks my but and normally have to mix the two. Both have good flavor. The sauces I bought from you were watery and had no bite. I expected a challenge from what I see on the show and I wanted to broaden my flavor pallet with a trusted source. I know these are not the upper end of hot but Chipotle HOT sauce kicks my behind. Disappointed and paid a premium.

Sorry to everyone above that apparently loved this sauce, I just gave it a try and was extremely underwhelmed by it. First, the heat level. It claims to be a medium-spice sauce, but the Tamaulipeka I also had recently was definitely much hotter. The number on the side there says 6/10. I'd call it 3/10. Also, there's just too much of a strong vinegar flavor to me. Many sauces are vinegar based but still manage to hide the vinegar flavor. This one doesn't. It's right there as soon as you bite in (and even before you bite, just when you smell the sauce). That really is a turn-off for me. The other mixed flavors behind that are alright, but... meh. The vinegar just ruins it. Also, this is a Thai Hot Sauce (as it proudly says on the label) that doesn't use Thai Chilis. They're Green Carolina Reapers. That just seems... odd. Like, really odd to me. Again, if you're a fan, great. But as for me, this is a sauce that I'm not thrilled about having to finish the bottle.

I myself really enjoyed this sauce. It was a nice attempt at a thai style sauce, I have always been a fan of a basil and lemon grass concoction. After reading the overview I would have to agree that this sauce would be awesome to make a curry with, I think some fish sauce could really draw out the flavor. This is definitely on my list as a great cooking ingredient. Heat Level is pretty low compared to most traditionally prepared thai sauces but that did not stop me from downing this bottle in 3 days.

I love this sauce so much!!! Heat wise I would say it's middle of the road, but flavor wise it's awesome. It reminds me of a good Caribbean jerk sauce. It's good on everything. 10 out of 10 for flavor IMO.
