Small diameter. Reasonable quality for the price but didn't make large enough diameter or deep enough holes for the bulbs I had to plant

Good solid tool. The dibber is well made and solid to the feel. It made planting bulbs easy even in heavy soil and through grass.

Spear & Jackson Dibber. Great to have this my old one was over 50 years old and I was in danger of getting splinters in my hand! Lovely quality and I expect it to last as long as my old one.

Did the job. Planted bulbs and have lovely daffodils in bloom. Note this is short so requires you to kneel down. If I’d had a lot of bulbs or indeed ever expected to be a regular bulb planter I may well have looked at a taller version.

Suitable tool.. After having removed the screwed on metal spike, I am left with a tool that is just what I needed for making holes suitable for planting daffodil bulbs.
