About Jaques of London:

About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. Why not come along for the trip with us!

My son and his friend really enjoyed these. They are well made and the dinosaur images are a very nice touch.

Delighted with gift for my 6 year old grandson. Just the right length of cord for a smaller child. I hope he gets as much fun playing with it as I did as a child. Love these 'old fashioned' toys Jaques make! I am a return purchaser and like to buy British.

Great yo-yo, although one arrived completely tangled. I did email the company about this and they didn't really care? I spent a long time clearing the knots, so it's fine now. But for the price I would have preferred both yoyos to be ready to use immediately.
