About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “The Wooden toys from Jaques are perfect, the colours are bright, they are well made and the prices are great. Ordered oline and had exceptionally quick delivery and was able to track the whole time. Would highly recommend and will continue buying these from here. Our Baby was born sleeping (bloody COVID) and for his birthday each year we get something according to age, it's heartbreaking, but we know these Jaques toys are such good quality, lovely condition and colours they will last forever.”

“My 2yr old grandson enjoys lining the monkey’s up and knocking them down with the little ball. Or knocking down grandads monkey towers. The quality is excellent and we should get lots of hours enjoyment out of the monkeys.”
