About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “The main puzzle pieces are great, the boards aren't the best quality. The images are just stuck on the boards, you can feel a split in the wood on the boat one and it's seems to have been covered up.”

“We recently got this wooden puzzle. The quality is absolutely amazing. Each piece is solid, smooth to the touch, and clearly built to last. No rough edges or splinters, just beautifully crafted wooden toys. The colours are bright and vibrant, which instantly grabbed my child's attention. Most importantly, my daughter loves it. She spent hours playing, assembling, and reassembling the puzzles. It's been great for her motor skills and imaginative play. If you're looking for a well-made, colourful, and fun puzzle set for young children, I highly recommend this one. It's a hit in our house!”
