About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “As it is a Christmas present for my aunt and was something she needed for her very large puzzles, 3000 pieces, I’m guessing it will be ‘just the job!’”

“The product arrived in good condition and holds my jigsaw pieces well everytime. Although I ironed the mat initially, it has remained straight after each use. Not so keen on the plastic tube but it does the job. Thank you .”

“Was surprised when the product turned up that it was folded in a box, I expected a tube. The matt was quite badly creased along its folds, there were instructions to iron the creases out but ironing as instructed did not have that much effect. It is a type of felt and is permanently damaged where folded. I have revisited this review originally giving it 1 star, I have to say that despite the creases the product does work ok”
