About Jaques of London:

About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. Why not come along for the trip with us!

A Xmas present for my young grandson so not opened yet. I have bought similar things from Jaques in the past for his older sister, she has had hours of fun playing with them. Even better both Mum and Dad loved that they were made from wood and not plastic.

This product comes in a little cardboard box with ribbon so it looks like a gift. I was really impressed when I opened up the delivery box. This toy is perfect for little ones & at a great price too.

Fun toy. Well made. Removable top made it interesting for my one year old granddaughter before she moves on to putting shapes through cutouts.
