About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “This is a super cute bus and my little one loves the people in it. However I have two reservations - the first is what I consider to be a fairly major design fault (as this is marketed for Suitable for 1+ Years). The bus tips up and bangs on her on the nose when she leans on either end on the bus. I suspect this is because the wheels are based on a normal london bus but for a child's toy, it needs a re-think. (The nose bump has happened three times and now I have to hold the bus down when she plays with it). Secondly she finds it annoying that the wooden driver doesn't come out the bus.”

“Probably my fault for not checking properly but I thought all Jacques buses had stairs, this one doesn't, lack of stairs detracts from the imaginary play!”

“My granddaughter loves playing with this bus and creates her own stories with the little people who she allows on it! Such a beautiful colourful toy, and so well made. All your toys create a jolly attitude with our grandchildren, playtime is always happy time.”
