About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “This wooden laptop is just adorable. My little boy likes it as he gets to be like his Daddy, sitting and working on his laptop. It’s great for mark making and we have been using the magnetic letters to practice spelling his name.”

“Great little laptop. My daughter really enjoys it. I thought it would be heavier which in hindsight lighter is better for trapping little fingers or dropping on toes.”
