About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “It's for her birthday on the 22nd and the quality is fabulous smooth and well made the figures and trees are really lovely I'll ask for a photo when she opens it. Such a treat buying from your company knowing how well made your toys are.”

“Hi not used yet as its a Xmas gift for my grandson, however we have purchased and used items from you before and you get fabulous quality for the price. Highly recommend you give them a try. I also love how they come ready wrapped to give as a gift.”

“A great little wooden train set. There are plenty of larger wooden train sets about but I wanted to buy something that was smaller for storage, easy to pack away and great for taking out when visiting family and friends and avoiding boredom. The pieces fit together well, are well packaged and arrived promptly within the promised time slot Recommend”
