About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “As all the purchases I made recently were presents, I haven't unwrapped them (they are always so beautifully wrapped and presented) so I can't actually comment on the items themselves. However, from my previous experience of Jacques' goods, i have every confidemce that they will meet the usual high standards I should also like to add my appreciation for the extremely prompt delivery, less than 48hrs from first initiating the order....and over a weekend with a Sunday morning delivery!”

“Our little cutie is nearly 2 ears old. The instruments in the musical pack are just the right size for tiny hands. No sharp corners are important, as he puts everything in his mouth. He was so excited when the box arrived, and he enjoyed unboxing everything ! Good quality and has been the perfect accompaniment to the toy drum we ordered at the same time.”
