About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “From first opening the delivery packaging, I was bowled over by my order from Jaques. Each item was beautifully wrapped. The shape sorted is lovely. Bright shapes, sturdy, attractive pull along box. Delighted.”

“Having visited the Jacques of London website I was clearly under the impression that the Pull Along Shape Sorter would be an ideal first birthday present for my granddaughter. However, that notion was disspelled when I received the beautifully wrapped sorter with a WARNING message: "Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts. Choking hazard". So why was this advertised as being suitable for children under 36 months? Now I have to find something else to give her. Fortunately she isn't aware that her grandpa wasn't able to deliver on her birthday!”
