About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. Why not come along for the trip with us!

Guitar is useless, not even useable as a toy let alone a 'beginners guitar' as the tuning key slips so the guitar strings cannot be tuned. I have sent a very video to customer services and have as yet received no response, other than a standard automated acknowledgement. Poor quality and service for a company with such a reputation as Jacques I'm afraid.

Bought as a gift for my grandchild who is always asking to play my ukulele so this is just perfect for him. Just like a mini version of a traditional guitar. Very good quality and tunable as well, can't wait to give it to him at Christmas

Unfortunately, both the guitars I've bought are for Christmas presents and the boxes remain unopened. Based on previous purchases, I'm confident of their quality.
