About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “When I received this whiteboard, initially I was very happy but it didn't take 2 days for the sides to come off....so I am looking at returning it now. Poor quality,very fragile,do not recommend.”

“Our granddaughter is just two and absolutely loves playing with this. I’m sure as she gets older she will play with it ‘properly’ but for now, she’s having great fun putting the pieces on the board and making up stories about the animals.”

“This is a lovely, quality toy which was much admired on Christmas Day. Should give hours of playing and learning time and is a great travel toy too as it’s self-contained.”
