About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Lovely wooden biscuits, perfect for kitchen role play. The round box, makes good storage for the biscuits, and similar items e.g. wooden cupcakes as it's quite big. My grandson keeps trying to eat them!”

“This is a review about the customer service & not the product as there doesn't seem to be anywhere to leave this kind of feedback. I accidentally auto filled the wrong delivery address when ordering. I contacted Jaques immediately but disappointingly they said there was nothing they could do. Not great customer service sadly which will put me off buying again”

“Lovely "tin" of biscuits. The tin is actually made of cardboard but still looks lovely. Each biscuit is colourful with nice decoration and textures. As with real biscuit tins, each biscuit has it's own place allocated within the tin. A nice touch is seeing a personalised card inside with a staff member's name.”

“Wooden toy biscuit tin was exactly as I expected from Jaques, beautiful (have ordered a few things before) unfortunately it was damaged (the tin not the biscuits) I didn't have time to send it back and re order so emailed and was immediately given a refund hence the 5 stars. Excellent service thank you x”
