About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “I took these bricks to a toddler group this week. They were a little smaller than I expected, but they are wooden & brightly coloured & the children enjoyed stacking them. I mixed them up with some small wooden trans, which worked well. They are good for counting, learning colours, building & stacking. A real classic! The postage was extremely quick. Although the packaging is very smart, I do feel there could be less plastic ( not sure if this is recyclable? ) & less cardboard? I'm sure these bricks will be enjoyed for many years”
