About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. Why not come along for the trip with us!

Absolutely love this game. Bright and a good focus activity to discuss shape and colour.

I bought this for my sons birthday, and, while the first one I bought was faulty (the layer over the wooden board was peeling after one short play), I contacted them through email, and the problem was sorted that very same morning. Their communication was fast and professional, and they sent out a replacement which arrived just a couple of days later. There are no issues with the replacement, and it is already a well loved toy.

We bought these for our granddaughter who's one this week. She really likes picking it apart and is working on fitting things back together again. And banging things together to make noise. And stacking the pieces... plenty of creative innovation. We weren't expecting the lovely cardboard wrapping - what a shame it was finished with unnecessary plastic wrap. (That's the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5.)
