About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Oh what fun while learning to thread beads on coloured strings. Smooth soft colours large beads, so many games will be invented in the child’s mind while playing with these. Beautiful quality. So please with everything I buy from you.”

“A very well packaged item with lovely wooden chunky beads and nice thick chords for little fingers to easily handle. My 5yr old grandson and 2yr old granddaughter loved playing with these and creating colourful Caterpillars - good for the imagination and something I think they'll love playing with each time they visit.”

“Absolutely perfect, great fast delivery as always. Threading beads are fantastic quality, non toxic, and lovely pastel calming colours. Beads are nice and chunky for little hands to build eye hand coordination. Very happy with purchase and transaction.”
