About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. Why not come along for the trip with us!

Excellent wooden product with the halves connecting neatly by magnet. It is great for encouraging shape sorting, colour and pattern matching, vegetable naming and knife skills. The only query is the identity of the round brown vegetable: potato? mushroom? Perhaps some green beans, peas or cauliflower instead! A lovely toy regardless.

Amazing quality products of wooden foods which we saw at a friend's house and our daughter instantly dropped her favourite toy and was playing happily with them. At that point we knew that this was a must and a lovely present for her birthday. Christmas can't come quick enough so we can purchase another set of high quality toys.
