About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Very well made, perfect for little hands. They are smaller than I thought but actually being compact, they don't take up a lot of space. Being a childminder it's great to share the wonderful rhyming stories about friends and teamwork. The children love them and storytime is enhanced with the beautiful wooden pieces.”

“My granddaughter is almost 18 months, and loves to sing and dance to the song, and now we are able to take that into a story, and she can make the animal noises. Great little set, thank you”

“I'm sure this will be a great toy for my grandson to exercise his imagination. The animals are sturdy and the perfect size for little hands. The storybook is very basic but I'm sure that many other stories will be created whilst playing with the set.”
