About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Lovely bright serviceable fabric that resists a shower. Absolutely great that it comes in a bag to keep it all together when not in use. This really encourages children to put things away in the proper place. If only the animal croquet also came in a bag! Something for you to consider? Just the right size for my four year old grandsn. However the frame is a wee bit flimsy and sometimes has to be adjusted to keep it level.”
