About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Disappointed how much plastic has been used in what is advertised as a wooden garage. More plastic than wood. Nice garage but if you are buying it specifically for that fact it’s wooden don’t bother.”

“My son is over the moon with his wooden car garage from Jaques of London. They really do put quality at the centre of what they produce! It has provided hours of fun for my son and is now infect his favourite toy that he wants to take everywhere with him… the cars are in his hands constantly!
