About Jaques of London:

About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. Why not come along for the trip with us!

Bought as a Christmas present for nephew. I’ve got a few of Jaques toys and all good quality and great for children. Also bought some games we adults play

Beautiful product and the packaging is exquisite. Which is why it was such a shame that a corner of the box had been damaged in transit. The toy was undamaged and my granddaughter is far too young to care about anything else but if I’d given it as a present to another child I’d have felt I needed to apologise for the box. Perhaps some extra packaging around the corners in future would help to maintain its immaculate appearance?
