About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Toddler loves it! It is just the right difficulty to chop the fruit and he loves moving the fruit in and out of the little wooden box. Having a tiny watermelon (I think it's a watermelon!) is strange - would make more sense to have a similar sized fruit to the others like a Kiwi or banana.”

“Loveeee! As people say the sets small, but can't wait to build it for her slowly. The level of craftsmanship makes it more than worth it for the money.. If anything it's so beautiful it's more than fairly priced. So please don't let those Amazon reviews put you off... If you're looking for beautifully done wooden toys I'd say to here. I certainly will be. Also I'm sorry but the packaging is so adorable! Neice felt super boujee when she received and it's just lovely to give baba that experience of a classy and beautifully done gift. Forgot the name of who packed it (we all remember the little smiley face she snuck in her name though bless) but even that personal touch made the experience special. Tysm all at jaques of London for a wonderful experience can't wait to come back for more!!! :)”
