About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Good strong toy. Only two animals with the set so perhaps the opportunity to purchase more animals separately would be a good option. I requested a gift message card, but this was not included.”

“Wooden Tractor Toy came beautifully packaged with a personal handwritten note from the person that wrapped it - was a lovely touch. The toy is so well crafted and the fact it is wooden means it's going to last and age well. My nephew loved it which is the main thing. For something so well made and feels top quality it is excellent value for money and would highly recommend it as a gift.”

“The tractor is fine , as is the trailer. The only comment I would make about it is the wooden pin that hooks the trailer to the tractor doesn't stay in the tractor causing the trailer to become disconnected . The parents of the recipient just glued it in place. It is fine now”
