About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “This is a Christmas present, so it hasn't actually been opened yet, but we have had Jacques wooden toys before and they are really lovely. Packaging is so nice it seems a shame to open it!”

“Although this is my 2 year old Christmas present I did open this up as I was curious to see. The size is perfect for her little hands, its very sturdy, I was pleased with this item and I'm sure my daughter will be thrilled on Christmas morning. Thank you x”
