Baby Chicks: Austra White Female Reviews

4.9 Rating 68 Reviews
We got our Austra a few years ago and she is the sassiest, smartest, boss of all our flock. She has raised baby chicks all the way to healthy adulthood three summers in a row. She's really quite impressive.

The two that made it through their journey are thriving and full of life. They are just too cute.

We are thrilled your precious Austra Whites are such an adorable addition to your flock! While we're disappointed and sad one of them passed, we're glad we could issue a refund for her loss. Wishing you many great years with these two special chicks.

All my May and June hens are laying now. The Austra Whites were the first by about 2 weeks, and one lays a double yolk nearly every day. If I never have another breed I won't mind. For this year I bought Austra Whites, Black Australorpes, Ancona, Mirabella, and Red Rhode Islands. I like them all.

Thank you for the wonderful review of your Austra Whites! They are beautiful and efficient and with the other breeds you selected, you have everything you need for a 10/10 flock. When you get ready to stretch your wings with some new breeds, we will happily make some additional suggestions!

Dolly Parton is an egg laying queen! She does love to hog a certain box in the coop, but the queen gets to pick her throne! She is super friendly, and will be your best friend if mealworms are involved. Tons of personality!
