Baby Chicks: Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Female Reviews

4.7 Rating 54 Reviews
Miss Giftwrap is growing exponentially, daily, and her true coloration has begun seeping in; a lovely auburn shade. She's a goon at five days, positioning herself constantly between her sisters. She seems to like being held and will doze off after a minute or two of being held against a soft t-shirt. She's a favorite of the six year-old girl next door, and they gaze at each other with great affection and fascination. This is my third purchase of live chicks from mypetchicken, and they've all grown up to be healthy, charming pets who are adored by all. Time will tell if her lacing is blue or black, but she'll be loved either way.

Arrived vibrant and full of vigor even after being shipped from Ohio to WA state. Adorable little chick growing quickly!

After we got 2 of these girls I read several places online that they are somewhat docile but not your If you are looking for a chicken friend go elsewhere. Really? My husband and I find that crazy because these Wyandottes are probably the friendliest chickens we have except maybe our Orpie. And we have chickens reputed to be sweet: Cochin, Favarolles, Silkies (and others). These are truly beautiful birds, calm, friendly and the first to come see you and sit on you when you come out. I love their big old beaks. Again, gorgeous chickens!! I am fairly new to chickens and I will tell you I am really not sure I see red or blue on these girls, but orange, black and smoky gray that is beautiful.
