“Unfortunately my Blue Splash Maran didn’t make it. She had cross beak, chronic pasty and our buff Orpington chick pecked her eye. She stopped growing and at a week passed away. We tried everything to get her back to health. She was my favorite and such a beauty. Very friendly, the most friendly out of 6 chicks. Will definitely get more one of these days.”

Thank you for sharing your review of the pretty babies! These little ones are know for their calm and quiet personalities and you are right, they make excellent pets! They typically will lay a medium-brown egg with dark speckles but as time passes, their "ink" may lead to lighter brown variations as the year progresses.
