Baby Chicks: Blue Splash Marans Female Reviews

4.7 Rating 208 Reviews
Chicks arrived in good condition and seem to be doing well. The Blue Splash Marans seem to be the friendliest - they actively seek attention and are pretty quirky. Looking forward to watching them grow.

Unfortunately my Blue Splash Maran didn’t make it. She had cross beak, chronic pasty and our buff Orpington chick pecked her eye. She stopped growing and at a week passed away. We tried everything to get her back to health. She was my favorite and such a beauty. Very friendly, the most friendly out of 6 chicks. Will definitely get more one of these days.

Pretty chicken, super sweet and super soft but more of a pet. She does not lay even close to a dark egg. Lays only 1-2 light brown eggs per week.

Thank you for sharing your review of the pretty babies! These little ones are know for their calm and quiet personalities and you are right, they make excellent pets! They typically will lay a medium-brown egg with dark speckles but as time passes, their "ink" may lead to lighter brown variations as the year progresses. We hope you are enjoying your laid back lady and My Pet Chickens hopes we can always be your choice for your flock care needs!

Our little pullet is so smart, inquisitive, athletic, and friendly! We just love her! Excited to see what color eggs she lays.

Most docile, sweetest, (and dumbest) bird in the flock. Very pretty feathering. She lets the kids come right up and grab her. Great breed!
