I did not originally order her, but I am so glad they sent this breed in place of the one I originally wanted (blue copper marans). I’ve never raised chickens in my life, but have so many friends with chickens. This breed is definitely the addition any new chicken family will want to consider.”

“In April I placed a mixed order of 8 from you guys, including 2 splash Marans. They all arrived healthy and happy but I did lose one Maran at around two weeks. “All of our 8 chics were healthy. All 8 are still alive and well although our bountiful blue egg layer turned out to be a rooster (whomp whomp) BUT this chicken! Our splash Maran is my absolute favorite! Her name is Dottie and she is the sweetest most loving chicken! She is beautiful and always wants to be held and loved! I just love her and I always say I wish I had a whole coop full of Dotties.”
