“I ordered a mixed group of five in June. They are now 19 weeks old. The BSM “Lily” is definitely eye candy! She is so beautiful! She is, however, the least friendly and most flighty of the group. She has 1-2 feathers on her feet …. And she is the smallest of the five. She’s pretty, but I would not chose this breed again. I would love to attach a photo but I don’t know how.”
We're sorry that your Blue Splash Marans did not meet your expectations. Generally they are very docile and sweet as well as fairly fluffy and good layers of a nice sized brown, often speckled egg. We hope that although she is not exactly as large as expected she'll still be a productive layer for you. We will reach out in a separate communication regarding your photos.
