They all died in the first two days of having them. Very disappointed. My other breeds of chicks are doing great but the buff die in the first 48 hours of arrival.

My daughter wanted an "orange" chicken and this was the closest we could get. Her name is peach and she is growing well!

This is now my 3rd buff Orpington and my 2nd from MPC and they are truly the sweetest breed out there. They are consistently sweet, friendly birds that love to be held and petted. My newest one Delilah comes running to me every time she sees me just to sit on my lap. I really love this breed

Pumpkin is a beautiful, friendly, happy girl. She is my head hen, but very nice to other girls. She will let you know if she wants to be pet, and even enjoys toddlers petting her, although she doesn't like to be hold. She was hardy in -20°F when other chickens were struggling and started to lay in middle of winter without artificial light. She lays about 4~5 eggs per week in winter and 6~7 eggs per week in spring. Her eggs have a lovely pinkish color. In my opinion, Buff Orpingtons are the best chickens for families with little kids.

Orpingtons are my favorite chickens, and the buffs are such a beautiful, classic color. Our buffs are friendly, hardy, and prolific layers. You can't go wrong with buff orpingtons!

Sommers is truly the biggest baby, cuddle Buddy ever. She loves to be petted and will let you rock her to sleep. She whines like a Turkey for attention and loves to be picked up and put on the roost and taken off in the morning. She has stolen my heart. My husband turns into mush when he holds her. She is the only Orpington to out Fox the foxes and the gawks. Her color make her a target. She is my only buff to survive, out of three. They are simply the best. We have several breeds snd she is our favorite for loving on and temperament.
