We can absolutely understand why you adore them! Frizzles really are such special birds, and we completely understand wanting to focus all your care on her right now. We’re rooting for your sweet girl and hope she continues to stay strong. Please reach out to our Flock Care Team if we can help with anything along the way!
“Didn’t end up a frizzle! Too bad but she is still super sweet and adorable. She has a crossbeak developing which is concerning.. but I hope to still give her a happy life.”
We're so sorry to hear that your Frizzle Easter Egger didn't Frizzle as expected and is showing signs of cross beak. We understand how disappointing that can be, especially when you were excited for a frizzled bird.
Because frizzling is produced through careful breeding practices designed to prioritize the long-term health of the birds, each chick from these pairings has approximately a 50% chance of developing frizzled feathers. Unfortunately, we are not able to determine which chicks will frizzle at the time of packing, so frizzling cannot be guaranteed.
We absolutely understand that this can be disappointing, which is why we introduced our industry-first Frizzle Feather Fairness policy this year to help cover situations like this when a chick ordered as frizzled feathers out smooth.
Our team will be reaching out privately to assist further, and we truly hope she continues to be a loved member of your flock.
Thank you for your review. We are so glad to hear she is such a sweet addition to your flock.
For our Frizzle varieties, we do offer a Frizzle Guarantee. Because the frizzle gene does not express in every chick, not all will develop frizzled feathers. If a chick grows out without frizzling, we are happy to provide a refund for the difference in the frizzle and regular version of the same breed. We will send you a private email with more information! We appreciate you choosing us and are happy to hear she has such a great personality.
WOW, she is absolutely stunning! With a friendly personality and a cute diaper from MPC, she could make a great house chicken! Lacey just wants to be in on all the leftovers and movie nights!
