“This is a great prefab coop if you have no building experience. However even the large version will not hold as many birds as they advertised. I have 6 birds and they don't have much room. Luckily we built a large run. The coop snaps together very easily, but the pull out litter trays are very flimsy.
We had to screw the perches in place because they were a tiny bit too short for the notches.
For a prefab it is good, but for the same amount of money you can probably find a place that builds bigger wood coops. But it is better than most made in China Wood coops.”
“While there are a few good things about this coop, the misleading description outweighs the good. The dimensions page is blurry and are hard to read properly. It's listed for 7-8 standard breed, but it must be under chicken factory requirements. A backyard flock is recommended at 3-4 square feet per bird. The floor space, excluding the nest boxes is less than 9 square feet. That's only enough for 3, maybe 4, standard size birds. I wish there was a way to return this product because I wasted a lot of money on the coop, and now I'm out tons more because I have to build extensions to make it suitable for the 7-8 birds I have. If you have more than 4 birds, please don't buy this coop because they will not have enough room to move around, which causes behavioral problems.”
“It is exactly as pictured. Easy to put together, easy to use, but the plastic pieces are a little flimsier than I expected. We accidentally bent a piece during install.

“So we were concerned at first, it seems really small. But after getting it setup and the girls using it it's actually perfect for my 8 hens. The auto-door was difficult, the video didn't match the size we had so we had to do a few holes before we had it perfect. That being said that thing is AWESOME. It works great and we don't have to worry about their safety. I highly recommend this coop.”
